Boland Eye Center is fully equipped to manage Diabetic patients with ocular complications. We have in-office facilities for Retinal Photography and Heidelberg Ocular Coherence Tomography (OCT). OCT is a non-invasive test that uses light waves to take cross-section pictures of your retina. With OCT, your doctor can see each of the retina's distinctive layers. This allows your doctor to map and measure their thickness. These measurements help with diagnosis. They also guide treatment for glaucoma as well as retinal disease, like age-related macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease. Our doctors remain in constant communication with the patient's medical doctor regarding current findings and therapies.
