Dr. Ryan Boland, a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist, has practiced in Savannah since 1989. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, he received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina followed by a year of training in Internal Medicine at the University of North Carolina. He completed his Ophthalmology Residency at the prestigious Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia where he also served as a member of the clinical teaching staff. Dr. Boland has given numerous lectures on eye care for the community and medical groups. He has also appeared on several television programs both locally and nationally.
Dr. Boland founded the Boland Eye Center in 1995 with the goal of providing the most technologically advanced eyecare in a friendly, personalized setting. Dr. Boland has extensive experience and training in the medical and surgical treatment of eye disorders, including glaucoma and diabetic eye disease.
Dr. Boland is available for both new patient evaluations and second opinions.
