Each contact lens fitting will be completed by Joshua Holmes, OD. The Boland Eye Center contact lens staff has over thirty-five years of combined experience in the field. Dr. Holmes has undergone specialized training in order to fit lenses for medical conditions such as Keratoconus and other Corneal Ectasias. He has extensive experience in fitting contacts for more common vision problems such as Presbyopia and Astigmatism.

We fit patients in the most advanced lens materials and wear modalities, from daily disposables to monthly or annual replacement lenses. Tremendous innovations have been made in the availability of healthier contact lens materials which allow more oxygen to pass through the lens as well as enhancing the end of the day comfort. Dr. Holmes fits well known brands, including but not limited to, Acuvue, Ciba, Coopervision, and Bausch and Lomb. We have the expertise to fit patients with lenses to improve their quality of vision, to change their appearance, to rid them of those pesky readers, or to manage their medical conditions.
